Danielle Matthews
We are very excited to have Danielle Matthews as our special guest star for this concert.
Danielle Matthews is the inaugural winner of the prestigious Rob Guest Endowment Award and is currently the Co-Artistic Director of the Logie, ARIA and Helpmann Award-winning Choir of Hard Knocks. Danielle was part of the four-part ABC documentary series titled Choir of Hard Knocks: A New Chorus, which followed the choir as they prepared for their 20th Anniversary concert in Melbourne.
She is best known in the industry for her portrayal of Shirley Bassey in her solo show The Songs of Shirley Bassey.
Theatre, TV and concert credits include: Jesus Christ Superstar (Crossroads Live), Urinetown (Heartstrings Theatre Company), The Voice Australia: Season 10 (Team Guy), Where Do I Begin (The Voice of Shirley Bassey), Showboat (The Production Company), The Silent Anzac (European Tour), Respect The Musical (Australian Tour), Bin Goddess, The Mikado, An Evening with Stephen Sondheim, Melbourne Art Centre's Morning Melodies, The Helpmann Awards, Good Morning Australia, Studio 10 and the National Anthem live at the MCG.
