Our History
Young and fiercely
passionate
Casey Philharmonic Orchestra was incorporated and held its first rehearsal in June 2017.
The Orchestra’s first performance took place in August 2017, in the performing arts auditorium of Nossal High School, Berwick.
The orchestra then performed at the official opening of Bunjil Place in October 2017, and since then Bunjil Place has become our principal performance venue with 3-4 performances per year.

The orchestra has collaborated with a diverse range of accomplished classical musicians and local music groups.
Soloists have included:

Sarah Prestwidge (soprano)
Lucas De Jong (baritone)
Hamish Gould (countertenor)
Shu-Cheen Yu (soprano)
The orchestra has also collaborated with other local music groups, including the Cranbourne Choral and Singularity choir. More contemporary performances have included a Beatles/Harrison/Clapton performance together with band, The Clapton Chronicles.
