The Casey Philharmonic Orchestra was formed in 2017 with the aim of both enriching the cultural landscape of the local municipality and providing local professionals and aspiring amateurs opportunities to practise and further develop their art.

Swashbuckling pirates, exciting escapades, and daring rescues: embark on an adventure with the Casey Philharmonic Orchestra as we explore some of the best soundtracks in action-adventure media!

Travel to the past as we explore the ancient ruins in Indiana Jones, and step through battles for glory from the world of Gladiator. Then, travel Back to the Future with us to explore even more thrilling soundtracks from movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, How to Train Your Dragon, Hook, King Kong, and many more!

    We invite all orchestral musicians and choristers between the ages of 12 and 25 years to join us for this unique opportunity to discover your full musical potential.

    Discover new musical horizons over the 5 days of this intensive culminating in a gala concert at Bunjil Place Studio. With expert tuition provided by musicians from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra plus many other music educators and featuring Orchestra Director Peter Casey AM and Choral Director Rosie O'Reilly.

    Join us as we celebrate NASA’s Artemis II orbiting the moon in 2026 in this amazing space odyssey concert. Featuring the amazing Mars and Jupiter from Gustov Holst’s The Planets, with breathtaking photos and video from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. PLUS all your fan favourites from popular sci-fi and space exploration movies. Immerse yourself in this audio and visual epic as we go to the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and beyond!
